I want to wish you and your family a happy and incredible New Year!! May it be the start of the best days of your life. Get your hopes up! Brush your dreams off if you have to and live in great expectation!!! Luke 1:37 reminds us that with God nothing shall be impossible. Wake up each day expecting to see the impossible in your life!
What dreams are you afraid to dream? Which ones have you written off because they seemed too great or too impossible? What have you given up on because too much time has gone by? What flame needs to be rekindled? It’s time to stir up the gifts within us! It’s time to regain our vision and our passion! It’s time to walk in our God given purpose! Not just because it is a new year but simply because it is time!
Shake off the weights and sin that have been holding you back. Let go of the past and embrace God and the future that He has for you (See Hebrews 12:1-3, Jeremiah 29:11 and Philippians 3:13). Stop being afraid to be who God created you to be. It really is OK to be you! You are a child of the Most High! You are incredible! You are anointed! You are more than a conqueror! You are a winner! You are a person of influence! You are all that because God is all of that in you. He is big and is great on the inside of you (That fact alone should keep you humble J). You have lives to touch and impact! You have stuff on the inside of you that will change the world! God put it there. Don’t let the mistakes and failures (or even the successes) of the past define you and keep you trapped in the past!
Let’s saturate ourselves in God’s Word in order to stay reminded of who He is and who we are in Him. We have to stay reminded of the love, the forgiveness, the faith, the authority, the favor and the charge that He has given us. Hey, God is great and He created you in His likeness. That means you’re great to. So, walk in it! Don’t be afraid to walk in it!
When you step out in faith, God won’t leave you hanging. Listen, He won’t leave you out there on your own. He’s there and He will complete that which He started in you! (See Philippians 1:6). You can do whatever He placed in your heart to do! Remember You were “Created by Greatness for Greatness!” Oh, hey I’m excited. Get excited with me! Let’s show the world God in us. . .in action! Let us determine to bring glory to God and show the greatness of God through the life we live!
